When I'm trying to upload a .flv file of 87megs I get this message "Invalid form token. Please reload this form and submit again."
I succeeded in uploading another .flv file of 30meg. What can I do to workaround this problem? This video is the last file I need to update for my customer web site.

Thanks a lot.

... and if I try from the "Add Multiple Files" in the File Manager, I get a "Too large" beside the file name.

Where can I edit this max upload file setting?

You need to edit your php.ini file to change the size of upload.

Look for:

php_value upload_max_filesize 20M

Your line may not say 20M, so don't worry if it's something else! Just look for the line.

since most things are posted to the server, you need to up this as well if it is smaller than your max upload value.

Also if you need to upload some large stuff you can ftp to a folder that concrete5 5.3 that can bring into the filesystem, very neat for videos and things like that that would hit the post limit anyways.

I got able to achieve the uploading finally by following your advices. I changed the following values in php.ini:
- post_max_size
- upload_max_filesize

Thanks a lot everyone for your quick and very useful information!
I love this forum and Concrete5!

Btw, I am running on 5.2.0; is there a new version out there?

there is a 5.2.1 but if you hold up a day or two from now they are coming out with a 5.3 and it will have some major updates

Fantastic, I'll hold then!

Is there a mechanism to get notified when a new version is out?

but a document named php.ini loaded into the webroot of your hosting providers account or vps or whatever will usually overwrite whatever is the standard php settings.

This is more of a hosting issue and your hosting provider can guide you in how they have it set up.

if you dont have access to your php.ini and mostlikely if you are on a shared host you dont have this access you can put the following lines into your .htaccess file and it should work to upload bigger files.

php_value upload_max_filesize 64M
php_value post_max_size 64M
php_value max_execution_time 300
php_value max_input_time 300

you can setup the max file upload by changing the 64M to whatever.

Cheers
