5.7.0 SQL Error

When I try to install using all the same info as my 5.6.3.1 install, I get this mysql error: [code]SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)[/code] Anyone know what it is or how to circumvent it?
