Simple one - Installation of Core Commerce.. No products?

Hi,
I purchased and linked core-commerce to my concrete install. I downloaded it to my site and installed it. It took a while to install and the page ended up going white..
When I go into the 'catalog' there are no products or anything infact.
I have tried removing it and readding but to no avail.
I have commerce installed on another site on the server so i know its not that, just confused why it is almost timing out on installation?
Anyone else experienced this and could offer me some guidelines?

Thanks for the tip webco. I removed a couple of other addons (the free news one) at the same time. Debug mode was already setup. Then re installed the commerce and its all working fine!?

In the dashboard go to "add functionality" click edit on the ecommerce package and then click uninstall.
In the dashboard go to "sitewide settings"
In the sub header click on "debug"
Put the "Debug Level" on development and click "set debug level"
Now re-install the package. This time instead of a blank white page you should get an error at the top of the page.
Copy the error and post it back here.
