error message

I've just installed Concrete5, and I am a new user. This is really bugging me... When I login to the admin panel, I get the screen as shown below.
This is really annoying. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of this thing because it is really doing my head in. What's the point???

What happens when you click the Log out link?

It logs you out, and then you login again and the same circus happens. It is so annoying. the only way around it that I've found is to go to the sitemap and from there visit the page you want to work on or whatever.

Check your canonical settings are correct, don't set it to https if it is in fact a http site
You can make those changes at dashboard -> system & settings -> seo & statistics -> urls & redirection

Great! So, checked this, the field was blank and I put in the URL as it should be, only to get this error message now, and not able to access the admin end of things anymore... and thus can't access the dashboard and remove this. What now???
Surely I must be able to undo this somewhere?

What is the website address?

Don't worry about it. I was at that stage only playing, getting used to the thing. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, now it's fine. Life is too short to waste it on searching for needles in a haystack... :)

User error then, or a PEBCAK issue
