5.7 Coming Soon/Roadmap: Creating a New Block Type release date?

@andrew
Is there an anticipated timeline for when Creating a New Block Type will be added?
Many of us are new and excited for more documentation. I understand your time constraints and everything you do is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Soon? :( Heh. I had planned for it to be a couple weeks ago but then 5.7.3 got fast-tracked.
Excellent, this is good news.

"Are we there yet!? Are we there yet!?"

Sorry for the delay, but we've just launched most of the block type documentation on creating a new block type:
https://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/5.7/...
It's the last section on the page. It should cover everything you need to know to build a basic Concrete5 block type for 5.7. Topics coming soon include:
Requiring Assets
Grouping In Sets
Enabling Inline Editing
Disabling Grid Container
Working with Multiple Database Tables
Defining and Calling Custom Block Controller Actions
Including Complex Form Widgets in blocks
Multiple User Selector
Including a Block in a Package
Troubleshooting
But these are some more advanced topics – everything else should be covered now.
