5.7 Hosting Suggestions?

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi All,

I've been going back and forth for months now trying to nail down a solid hosting solution that supports 5.7 with loading speeds that are acceptable.

For years, my small company has used a dedicated server from GoDaddy. The speed was there and the control panel made it easy for a non-server specialist to be able to handle it with ease.

Once 5.7 came out, the load time was not acceptable. No matter what tweaks to 5.7 were made, it just didn't work (even though the servers size, bandwidth and all of that were very high on the GoDaddy server).

I moved over to Digital Ocean, which is excellent on speed. But, you have to do everything through a terminal. Even though I have some documentation on how to do these steps, it's still not a user-friendly process and not sure that it's worth continuing because I'd rather have a control panel to work through.

Wondering if you can let me know who YOU use (not looking for a shared option) that is reasonable on costs and allows for future growth that also includes a control panel for a user-friendly setup.

Thanks in advance!

I highly recommend InMotion Hosting. All of my projects are hosted there, and Concrete installs and works without any issues. Also, their support is the best I've encountered.

I'm part of their affiliate program, so if you follow the link below, I'll earn a commission.

Their VPS or reseller hosting may be what you're looking for.
