Add block in stack or global area in concrete5 5.7

I am trying to add block in global area and in global stack.
When i click on "Add Block" button, it displays the list of all blocks, but when i click on that block nothing happens. Its not working.
Looks like its bug in concrete 5.7 or may be i am doing wrong somewhere .

You need to drag the block into the 'Global' area (blue box).
I have attached snapshot.
When i go to stacks and blocks -> stacks -> select stack -> add new block
is not working, I tried to add by dragging in, but shows javascript:void(0) in small popup.

Sorry, I thought you meant adding from left panel to page. Not sure why you can't add blocks and create stacks, I can?

I am using 5.7.2, I tried to download 5.7.3, but every time i get error saying " server stopped responsing "

I know there were quite a few bugs in earlier versions, so you may to persevere with updating C5. Version 5.7.3.1 was released this morning, best to give that a go.
