Add Code to existing Core Dashboard Page (Packaged)

Hi there
I wonder if there is a decent way to add new features to a Core Dashboard Page.
To be precise, this question is not about creating new Dashboard Pages in a package.
Example: Add a Button to /dashboard/blocks/stacks Single page (/concrete/single_pages/dashboard/blocks/stacks/view.php) which would lead to another Controller inside my package rather than to the Stacks Controller (/concrete/controllers/single_page/dashboard/blocks/stacks.php).
It can't be the solution that I have to reproduce the whole Single Page inside my package. What if after an upgrade the Stacks single page changes?
Any ideas?
