adding a block using a tablet

Can't find how to add a block to a page on a tablet. Do I really have to get a laptop out?
I have no problem with my Android tablet. (Sony Xperia). What is it doing (or not doing) for you?
Hi mhawke, glad you're using a SONY I'm using a Z2 tablet so your experience shows it must work!
I must be doing it wrong somehow - I thought doing a long press then dragging the block's icon to the area I wanted would do it having done pretty much the same from a laptop but the block's icon just sits on the screen where is was long-pressed and doesn't drag anywhere :o/

No 'long press' needed. Just touch and drag.
