automated jobs | deleting old versions

Hi,
I have 500 versions, I wanted to delete them but the automated job for this is not listed anymore with the rest of the jobs...
Why is it not available anymore?

In 5.7 it is. see attached image. or are you using 5.6?

Yes, I saw that menu, but number 6 (Remove Old Page Versions) is not showing on my list, do you know why can that be?

well there is that bloody little trash can there that lets this job be deleted. Perhaps that got triggered at some point. 5.6 had an addon that restored the jobs. I dont know if that has been ported to 5.7. Have you checked the marketplace page?

Looks like you can restore it in the database but setting the field from DISABLED to ENABLED. Feel comfortable with that? Backup the db first.

For the record, I had to manually add it to the database, the whole thing was gone, although the code for the job was still there...
