Can click on and select edit on a second content block while I still have first block in edit

I have done a fresh install of 5.7.3.1 with the default content for testing to see if it's client ready.
I put the home page into edit mode and left click on a content block and select edit.
I can then click on another content block in a different page area, in the footer for example and select edit.
This then leaves the first block un-saved and with no way to save it, you can still click on other content blocks and select edit but in most cases you cant edit them.
If you manage to find a block the allows edit to work then exiting edit in that block results in empty content blocks on any of the those that were selected prior.
You should not be able to click on other blocks while having a content block already in edit mode.
I have reported this as a bug and would ask for others to confirm this. I would not use this version for a clients site with this problem in place.
