Cannot create a new page on 5.7.3.1?

When using the create new page button and I click empty page I get the error

Argument 1 passed to Concrete\Core\Page\Type\Type::createDraft() must be an instance of Concrete\Core\Page\Template, null given, called in /var/www/html/updates/concrete5.7.3.1/concrete/controllers/backend/page.php on line 30 and defined

I'm afraid I corrupted my site somewhere during an update in the applications folder, however after I don't have enough time to build the site from scratch in a clean install. Has anyone gotten this issue before? Can someone shed some light for me? I'm a bit on my own here at work.

Hi caomicc,

You mention this in your post - "I'm afraid I corrupted my site somewhere during an update in the applications folder".

Could you be more specific about this. Did you update concrete5, did you create/modify override files, or something else?

Did the problem start after this?

I believe I modified a page file in a folder I shouldn't have touched. My boss has decided that we should just move ahead with a clean install.

Did you modify a file in the concrete folder?

If you are prepared to start over again from scratch. Try backing up the install, re-install with the same version 5.7.3.1, then import your data and replace your files. Treat it like a move.

This guide has the steps to follow.
