Cannot insert images or links using editor in content block

What the topic says.
Editing a content block gives me the tool bar. Clicking on the add image link brings up search box. Clicking magnifying glass icon brings up file picker. But choosing image from file picker does not insert image.
Same with trying to make a link to a page using the page chooser.
I can make a link directly, but can't by using the page chooser. Javascript problem?
Help.
