Newbie. Getting the Compare versions alert dialogue whether in or out of editing mode.
The solutions in this discussion don't seem very settled:

Same problem here. Deleted all old version without success.
I've got the same weird pop-up, so I made a Job that clears empty workflow. It might help people who have trouble with this issue.
