Copy Block, how about Copy Area?

I find myself making for example a column layout, then adding the same blocks in each column. It would be nice to be able to copy an entire areas content, all the blocks, and then pick them up in the clipboard area. Kind of like stacks, but each block would be editable, as its content is going to change. Would speed up production time on the front end.
