Dashboard popout error
Permalink
Hello,
I thought id wait until the new 5.7.5 was released before i mentioned this error in case it had been fixed.
when clicking the icon to open the dashboard, all is well, but then if you select any of the options below this, to move there, it also closes the dashboard, to continue, you open the dashboard again before you continue on with what you intended to do, having to click dashboard everytime you want to navigate the options is getting teadious is it is still here in the new release so i thought id better say something. i have a demo site with a bare clean install if you need to access it to see what i mean..
many thanks
pat

Use your browser debugging tools to check if a cookie called "dashboardPanelStatus" with the value of "closed" has been set. If you delete this cookie, your dashboard will stay open as you navigate through the dashboard links. If you click the toolbar dashboard icon to close your dashboard, the cookie will be set again, which causes the dashboard to auto-close.
