Date Navigation by Years

Hello,

the new Date Navigation doesn't have a hierarchical option like in 5.6, and I would like to set it up to filter just years not months. I tried removing every mention of months from the controller and it works, but every label is the current year. Does anyone know how to solve this? I think this block should have a little bit more flexibility to fine tune the output.

Hello, did you find a way ? I'm looking for exactly the same possibility.
It would be also very nice to have only the year printed and the number of post in the year, like ::
- 2020 (8)
- 2019 (14)

If someone have a tips to do that, thanks !
