Has any one tried this function in 5.7?

A lot of my clients use this to set additional padding or margins on blocks and I see that it has been enhanced.
The use of sliders make it almost impossible to be pixel perfect when selecting numbers. It is so sensitive and difficult to select an exact number.

Why cant we just enter a number if we don't use the slider?
What happened to the ability to easily save these pre-sets?
