Edit Image question/suggestion

caveat-I am just learning my way around 5.7 after running previous versions for 5+ years.
When I go to edit an image: Edit Block, click on the image in the dialog box, click Replace, there are only options to Add from Computer, Add from incoming, and add Remote File. Wouldn't it makes sense to have a "Add from Files" option? If the image I want to swap out is already in the File directory, I can't select it there. Unless I am missing something it seems like I have to delete it and then start over with Edit Area Design and add the image that way.
Am I doing this right? It seems overly cumbersome.
