error uploading pictures

I get this error:
Out of memory (allocated 59768832) (tried to allocate 2655875 bytes)
This is a new site. Everything else seems to work fine.

How large were the files you were trying to upload?

This seems to be "magically" working. Not sure why but I have not had any issues today. Very strange. Thanks for the help!
