Errors and Oddities with 5.7.5

I'm getting all kinds of problems with 5.7.5.2 and fruitful theme combination.
Is anyone eles experiencing this?
Upload file errors like timeout after 60 seconds even when 60 seconds hasnt passed, but file is actually still uploaded, plus other upload errors.
al other navigation produces '500 Internal Server Error' howver if i goto sitemap and view page from there it works.
click home page and get 'File does not exist'
Am told there is an update for theme fruitful so click update and it said its intalled but the update message remains.
Cant move the site out of dev folder to make live, it just breaks it, even though pretty URLs are left off and robots.txt is correct.
try to add an image to a set and get error 'Access Denied'
All in all a real mess!

The internal sever errors are the combination of 'Frutiful Therme/ 5.7.5 and a 'Thumb Gallery' add-onhttps://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/thumb-gallery/...
The timeout problem with upload images is bizzare. I open them in photoshop and save for web again repalcing the orignal and they all work fine. Must be something to do with how they were saved or transfered I guess?
