Feature Request: Composer Form Default Set
Permalink
If we add a new page type, we will get a blank composer form, but this is not intuitive for site editor. At least, we need Page Name and Page Location fields for adding a new page.
This is a suggestion for improvement to Page Type feature. The system creates a new page type with the default composer form set same as Empty Page type with Elemental full install contents. Thoughts?

+1 at least the Page Name should be a standard composer form field
Agreed.
I actually made a similar suggestion to GitHub:
https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5-5.7.0/issues/1739...
It really isn't very intuitive and straightforward how to make new page types and add them to Composer because you have to change settings in several different places and the steps are not anyway linked together.
I think there should be a wizard like interface which each step for making a new page type to work with Composer.

This has been fixed in 5.7.3 – now you can start from an existing page type by copying the page type.
This is the the exact problem I am having and I currently on version C5.7.3.
