File links are redirecting to home page

I have uploaded some PDF's, but when you link to their files, you get redirected to the home page instead of the file.

Example:
http://www.autolaundrysystems.com/download_file/view/519/381...

That link should open PDF, instead it redirects to the home page. But why?

I figured this out. When redirecting to https, I was using my own rewrite rule. When removing my own rewrite rule from .htaccess, and then canging the canonical url to https via the generated overrides file, then everything links how it should.
