Files Management

Hey,
I have few questions regarding new 5.7 concrete version. I am running a web with huge number of pictures with galleries containing 250 - 400 pictures each. All problems I had with previous version (5.6 and earlier) were connected to files management. Since I hoped those will be solved in new version and saw this as a reason to re-make the website on new version, it seems somewhat the same or worse even.

1) 5.7 does not allow me to show more than 10 files per page in file manager, in other words the chance to switch number per page disappeared. Really?
2) When uploading big number of pictures, Concrete adds them to set randomly. Not mentioning it doesn't shows me option to add them to set after upload finishes.
3) In order to solve number (2) - Still no possibility to order file set by name / size / whatever...
4) And not to forget.. no gallery in blocks options at all.

Don't take me wrong the way of uploading with a progress bar is actually sweet, but useless if above mentioned are not planned to be included.

So my question is: Are those just a "yet to be done" as 5.7 is kinda fresh or should I look for different CMS? (Really do not want to = reason why I post this question)

Thanks for any info or tips to solve my misery

you can now make file attributes index.php/dashboard/files/attributes
you can upload the images programmatically so you can easily sort them whatever wany you want.

Hi dedekjr,

Setting the file set on upload is coming.
https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5-5.7.0/issues/537...

Showing more than 10 files is coming also.

Thanks... could not find it anywhere. Maybe just did not look properly. Will just wait and explore attributes so far..

"order file set by name / size / whatever... "

I can see sorting options for file sets being useful.
