Hi All
I just thought I would install 5.7 now it is a couple of releases in but got this on install.
Has anyone come across this error before? Is it my hosting settings?
Any help appreciated

Hi Andy
It´s a managed VPS, I can get it set anyway I like, it´s just a case of figuring out what I need.
Cheers

Well I came back to this again this morning.
When I went to my site URL the errors did not show any more errors but re-offered me the installation screen again, so I ran it again.
This time it told me there were already tables in the database so could not install.
I dropped all the database tables so I had an empty db and installed again.
The second attempt seems to have worked fine (untested yet) and I now have an install.
No changes were made to my hosting environment so I really have no idea what caused this issue.
Maybe I should have waited until 5.7 gets more stable.
I am going to push on and see what 5.7 is like.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem might have been or still is I would be grateful as I don´t really want to have to go through this each time I set up a site.

Is this shared hosting or a server/VPS you've set up yourself?
