Forum Add-on

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi!

I have a customer asking about adding a Forum to their site. They want to use it as a place to document common problems, solutions, and general discussion among their customers. So it will be fairly locked down and use will not be super heavy.

I cannot find an add-on in 5.7. This there a way to do this with composer, or something else natively? Main function I need is to be able to lock down registration to require approval and you must login to view (i know I can do that with c5), just not sure on how to set it up.

If not - does anyone have recommendations for a third party - open source forum solution?

Thanks!
Jake

You could use the core Conversations and topics features to set up a forum, and set up a group(s) that have access to these pages to keep them private.

Also, you might want to consider Disqus:https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/disqus...
