Hey,
Is there a way to bring a forum to my C5 website without having to count on external services? i found some discussion about it where you can create one with topics and conversations but i cant seem to find the way to let users themself start a post.
If anyone can help that would be much appreciated!

does it mean i have to let my users make an account somewhere else (vanillaforums) as well?
I've been meaning to bring my phpBB forum 'closer' to my c5 pages, without actually accommodating one within the other (nice though that would be). I'm thinking that it should be possible to create a custom authentication system in c5 that would allow it to accept logins from the forum database. Doco at

I believe but can't confirm 100% that vanilla forum can have the same login as C5.
I can confirm that I had some success placing the forum on a C5 page.

Here is a tutorial on how to setup a single sign on for both the forum and C5. I don't know enough about C5 to do it. Can you or someone else give a little help?
