Forums in 5.7 (??)

In the Editor documents, I could not find anything about making a Forum in 5.7.
Will there be a Forums add-on in the future? Should we invent our own forum using the “Conversation” block?

I have a client who just asked about having a Forum in 5.7. It would be helpful to know if with the release of 5.7.4 Conversations will be capable of doing a Forum or if we need an Add On for that?

We were asked by a company which is planning to build an intranet with concrete5.
But they would like to have forum function similar to the Discussion of 5.6.
We are wondering about the roadmap of Gathering and Conversation mentioned in the roadmap.

We may make additional customization.
But I rather build the forum based on the core.
Otherwise, we would need to propose them to use 5.6 which kinda sucks.
