Foundation 5

Just purchased Foundation 5 and quickly realized that it is only compatible with 5.6. I have Concrete5 5.7 installed. My fault, I should have checked.

I was using Elemental but thought from the reviews of Foundation 5 that this would be a good move!

What's the best thing to do here? Downgrade Concrete to 5.6...

Depends on how far you are with the website, if you are just starting with it you could consider a switch to 5.6.x.

Just started. Well I'm moving from Wordpress actually...
I'm guessing that Foundation 5 will eventually be updated for Concrete5 5.7...?

How would I go about creating a 5.6x install?

Ask the developer.

They have a 5.7 version of the theme 'Fundamental' and may be prepared to swap the licence. There is no easy swap mechanism in the marketplace, so the usual method a developer would recommend for handling a swap is to purchase the new license and then be refunded on the original.

Bear in mind there is no obligation on any developer to do this. The rules are 'if it works as it says on the tin...' , and there is a bit of messing about on a developer's behalf to process such a swap.

So check with the developer first.

Thanks. I'll drop them a line and ask.
