FRUITFUL - BLANK SITE after applying theme

Hi there,
I have implemented Fruitful a couple of times before with no issues. But now in this fresh C5 5.7.3.1 with no content, after installing the theme, when I apply it I only get a blank site with not even C5 editing toolbar. I have been looking in the theme help forum, and I saw that there are several people with the same problem since November 2014.
Is this a C5 or a Fruitful issue? I have tried several things, including installing everything again from scratch, with no luck...
Thanks everyone for your time!

V.

I just had the same issue and reinstalling the package wasn't helping either. Eventually I manually cleared the cache via dashboard --> system & settings, which brought back the toolbar and the placeholder-boxes of the theme. I played around a couple of minutes before this, so i'm not 100% sure this was the fix, but you might give it a try if you didn't solve the problem anyway yet...

Regards,

Kir

--edit: Clearing the cache helps just for one page view. Refreshing the page makes everything disapear again.

--edit: I found out that, at least for me, enabling css-cache in optimisations fixed the blank pages. I have no idea what the underlying problem is though...

I think I have found the problem: lousy host service. Make sure you have C5 recommended RAM memory allocated if you are in a shared hosting environment (I think it is 96Mb). If you don't have that minimum, Fruitful shows either blank or with a message like Allowed memory size of 88080384 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8138177 bytes)

Yeah - I've seen this a bit. It's not specific to fruitful. Pretty much every theme can potentially do it. Custom or packaged. Usually clearing your cache works.

Could someone tell me what is the required php memory limit to make any theme work properly? I have 105 Mb and it keeps giving me a memory error:

Allowed memory size of 110100480 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2097152 bytes)

This is my php config:http://d9580187.u89.c11.ixinstant.com/phpinfo.php...
Is it good for C5.7?

Thank you!

If I remember rightly the recommendation is 128 meg - it must be pretty spot on as well as you're getting near there.
