Header Extra Content Issues

Hi everyone,
Has anyone experienced issues with the Header Extra Content area not displaying the content that gets added there? The issue I'm having is that I can add content and save it, but I can't go back and edit what was added as the field is empty, but if I look at the source code for the page the content I added is there, but it not displaying in the field to edit, all of the other fields Name, URL Slug, Meta Title, Meta Description all show the content thats been inserted, but not the Header Extra Content field.
I was adding some rich snippet code, so not sure if thats the issue, if code can't be inserted in that field, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of that field as I don't want the code to be site wide, but page specific.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I was not able to find anything on the issue on the web.

What version are you using? I just tested this in 5.7.5.9 by putting the following into that field and it came back to edit just fine
Hi, I'm running the latest version 5.7.5.9, I have this issue on two pages that I added that rich snippet code, and again when I check the source code it does show up, but not in the text area field.
Can you provide the snippet?
Ok so I just discovered something, it does not show up when going to through the Composer/Page Settings > SEO area, but it does show up when I go through the sitemap and SEO, the code does show up there.
I just did a test by created a test page and I added a javascript alert like yours and it worked, but again not when going through the composer, but it does show up when going through the sitemap.
