Does anyone know an easy way to edit the layout of the header? Add a background photo? Add a block to the header?
What theme are you using?
It's Elemental, my dear Watson. ;-)
You can edit it by copying the /concrete/theme/elemental out to /application/themes/elemental updating the namespaces, the CSS, and the PHP in the elements/header.php

I thought as much. I will settle for this programming solution, but I am a long way from being comfortable with PHP, let alone modify someone else's code. It mostly just looks like gibberish to me.
