Highlight Changes

Hello All,

Can anyone help me?

I want to highlight the changes in compare versions window for requested version and current live version.

I have an administrator and editor groups. When an editor makes changes and submits for approval, the changes must be highlighted so that the administrator can exactly review the changes.

Thanks,
Mohammed

I dunno if it's quite what you're looking for, but if you go into 'Page Design', 'Versions' and tick the check boxes for two or more versions, those versions of the pages will be displayed in tabs. You can (relatively) quickly switch between the versions by clicking on the tabs.

Hi Gondwana,

I have seen this feature. But I would like to highlight the changes in the versions window.

Thanks,
Mohammed

Hi mohammedfaqruddin,

I don't believe a version highlighting feature is currently available.

Hi MrKDilkington,

Thanks for the reply. I came across documentation stating highlighters for versions. Please refer
https://www.concrete5.org/documentation/general-topics/versions...

I would like to know can we implement something of this kind in 5.7.

Thanks,
Mohammed

I built this functionality into our site using this library:https://github.com/tnwinc/htmldiff.js...
However, our site is still in 5.6.

I was planning on porting my solution to 5.7, but haven't done so yet.
PM me if you'd like some help.
