Included themes?

I am about to raze my old Joomla based site and rebuild with a new CMS. I really want to use C5 5.7 but I have seen comments that there are no included themes to practice on (Iam not developer/designer)
Is this the case? I just wanted a few free themes to choose from and do some minimal editing before publishing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

5.7 includes a built in 'elemental' theme. There are also a few free themes available in the marketplace.

Many thanks for the help. If I wanted to purchase a theme am I limited to 5.7 compliant or can I use a 5.6?

5.6 and 5.7 are very different CMS, so you are limited to one that support the version you are using. (5.7 in that case).
