Interactive blocks of Concrete5 don't work with my custom theme

When I add a interactive standard block, for instance a conversation or the search bar, of Concrete5 to my site with a custom theme output doesn't work. Therefore when you type something into the search input field and hit enter no found matches will be displayed. Exactly the same thing when writing a comment and pressing submit. Nothing happens. Do I have to add a special div for the output?
The conversation works fine now. I don't know what I did to solve the problem. When I place a search block type that outputs found items directly beneath the search bar everything works how it should but with selected option to output the items onto another page it still does not work.
