Jquery out of date.

The jquery that concrete 5 has in js folder is out of date. The latest version is jquery-1.9.1, I am just wondering why concrete5 didn't update the jquery in its latest version?

Are you perhaps mixing up concrete5.7 with 5.6?

5.7 appears to have version 1.11.3 of jquery with it, which is the latest 1.11.x version of jQuery available.

Concrete5.6 is going to have an earlier version of jQuery for stability/compatibility reasons.
