LDAP Package Released

Just wanted to make a post to make people aware of our newly released LDAP package. For quite some time now I feel the lack of a supported LDAP authentication package has been a hole in the arsenal of concrete5 packages, and I think we've come up with a pretty good solution to fill that gap. This solution has been tested on Active Directory, OpenLDAP, and Apple Open Directory servers.

Check out our marketplace page and documentation for a list of supported features and feel free to let us know if you have any questions or enhancement requests. We're very interested in making this a flexible and robust solution for all.

So, if I do understand correctly, all of the employees of a company can login into the websites with their own same login credentials. Am I correct?

That's certainly a possibility with this package. You can also customize the LDAP filters in order to make it so that only a sub-set of the employees can log in based on the directory user attributes.

That is very nice! I'll definitely use this in the future when we have more employees. ;)

This add-on looks great.

If it could be used as an alternative to SharePoint, that would be a way to save a lot of money.
