New Theme

I activated a new theme and it broke the page. I restarted the MAMP server, logged out and back in and all I get is

An unexpected error occurred.
An error occurred while processing this request.

Why is this CMS so buggy?

Same here. You will have to go into the database through phpMyAdmin in your server's cPanel and delete the theme you added from the PageThemes table.

I can't help you with instructions on how to install a new theme. I'm still struggling with it myself.

It's buggy because it's brand new. Report your problems on the Community->Bug Tracker and 5.7.1. will be much better.
