no meta data in search index

Permalink
How can I get the search indexer to ONLY index the areas I want? I have white listed the areas I want, but it always include the data in the meta-description and meta-tags, which is silly as there is often data in the metas that does not specifically relate to the page... for example if ever desc has the string "copyright Happy Dolls Inc", searching on the word happy or dolls return every single page :(

If you find the attributes in the page attributes section of the dashboard uncheck the checkbox that says "include in search index". Then make sure to run the reindex search index job.

Sorry if I am being dense, but I can not seem to find that anywhere. I have looked in

Dashboard->Pages & Themes -> Page Types -> problog Post -> Attributes
Dashboard->System & Setting -> Attributes
Dashboard->Pages & Themes -> Attributes
