Overriding elements in 5.7.nn
Permalink 3 users found helpful
hello,
I was wondering if anyone else has had any problems overrding files in the /concrete/elements folder and whether what I'm experiencing is a bug:
I want to override:
/concrete/elements/block_header_view.php
/concrete/elements/block_header_footer.php
so - I copy both of these files into /application/elements and make my changes
my changes are not reflected at all - no matter how I alter these 2 files they do not override the files in /concrete/elements.
However, if I override /concrete/elements/header_required.php in the same manner that does work.
Any ideas what I'm missing here? In order for my changes to work I'll have to override core files. I've always been able to override any file under the elements folder (I believe) in previous versions.
