Page Attributes Display block not showing image/file attributes, breaking site
Permalink
Hey all,
5.7.1 - I added an image/file attribute and attached it to a page. Got an error that breaks the site and says:
I have to delete the attribute in order to restore things to normal. I can get Elemental to do the ame thing on a separate install (5.7.0.4).
Am I missing something?

What are you trying to do with the attribute? Image/file attributes should be working fine – the elemental sample content uses them for thumbnails on blog entries, for example.
Just display it.
See attached screenshot - down at the bottom of the page.
- I create an image attribute.
- I go to a page, and drag the PAD block into a block area.
- I save and exit edit mode. Nothing is there.
- I refresh the page.
- The error appears and persists. Can't delete in edit mode.
- I have to manually delete the image attribute to get rid of the warning.
I get the same thing trying to add the stock *thumbnail* attribute in Elemental. I thought maybe it was my local environment, so I loaded up a copy to my sandbox online, and boom - same thing.
I found this when I was putting together a little 1-page website with a custom theme I built from scratch.

Ah, totally spaced part of your bug report. My fault.
So its buggy, then?
