page slug 'members'

I've had a couple of sites where the customer tries to create a page with the slug 'members' but evidently that's reserved and it changes it to members-1. But it lets you edit and change it back and then weird stuff happens.

Is 'members' a reserved path/slug? How can this be blocked from letting a user change a page to something that's already reserved?

Thanks.

Hi ctadmin,

There is already a members page with the /index.php/members path that is used by concrete5. I believe there can only be one use of a URL slug at each level. This is why concrete5 changed the URL slug to members-1. If a URL slug is auto-suffixed with a dash and a number, then you know this URL slug is already in use.
