Have you created any topics in the topic tree that you've attached to your blog category attribute?

What version are you using? There is a topic bug in creating and assigning new topic trees in 5.7.4 that is fixed in 5.7.5. I wonder if this is related.

I got the same issue. Previously I've set up many topic lists without any problem, but since 5.7.4.2 the attribute is empty in composer or attributes view. I am not able to select any topic.

Did you also delete the topics?

You could try and delete the blog page and all pages underneath then install this add on.

I tried that and working with me
