Troubles connecting project to concrete5.org / getting add ons after update
Permalink
Hello everyone, forgive me, I am just a novice with CMS, but I recently updated to 5.7... from a fresh install on my server, and I have the blank slate that I wanted, but now cannot connect it to the concrete5 marketplace / my project page to get any of the themes and add ons that I paid for to migrate over.
Any advice?

No, I am not getting any type of error message, there just is no option to connect to the community at all anywhere on my dashboard.... my project listing on the community also shows me in version 5.5, so it seems like when I updated, something misfired and I am very much lost at the moment.
How did you update?
As you can see onhttp://www.concrete5.org/get-started... there is a note telling you, that there is no update script from 5.6 to 5.7. So I think it is even impossible to update 5.5 to 5.7.
I would, if in someway possible, install a new 5.7 and transfer the theme from 5.5 to 5.7 and recreating the pages (i don't think it would be possible to migrate the database).

I deleted 5.5 off my server completely, and installed 5.7, I had wanted to start completely fresh, so I then bought a 5.7 theme... but since my site will not connect to the concrete5 community, I cannot find a way to get the theme transferred (or any other plugins)
OK. I'll install a 5.7 this week. I'll give you a feedback.
I'm sorry. At the moment I do not have enough time to test it.
As soon as I'll find the time, I'll let you know.

Do you get an error message? Or can you check the server logs? I recently updated a couple of pages with no problems.
Kind regards,
Steff
