URL's Changing

Strange one but URL's on my site seem to be changing.
I discovered this through webmaster tools and seen a lot of 404 errors. The URL was something like /cruise-lines/royal-caribbean/independence-of-the-seas/cabins and the words of & the have disappeared so it is now /cruise-lines/royal-caribbean/independence-seas/cabins - which is strange because I didnt change it.
Any ideas?

Are those words not in the "Excluded URL Word List"?
That's probably what it is. You don't have any rewrite rules in your .htaccess file right?
Can you explain how it works to me please.

Not Sure about 5.7 but in 5.6 you will find them in System & Settings/SEO & STATISTICS..
