What will happen if I transfer site to new domain with caching on ?

I have concrete site with 2800 page and is completed now. We were on development server.
If caching is enabled on development server and if I move to different domain with caching on, Will it make any issue ?

Should I turn off cache before migration ?

What precautions should I keep ?

And One important question is :
By turning on cache, will it make edit mode faster ? Right now, on site Caching is turned off and it takes lots of time to load page in edit mode.

Thanks !
Website is :http://exrx.net/concrete

Bad Things will probably happen if you copy cache files across. Do this:
http://documentation.concrete5.org/developers/installation/moving-a...

And the documentation on caching is here:

I mean Will it improve editing time ?

It takes lots of time to load in edit mode.

C5 caching will have no effect on edit mode performance.

Does it get slow loading in edit mode on every page or only on some? Often, on pages with loads of images blocks that resize the images (galleries, slideshow, image blocks...) it can slow things down considerably.

Can you check that.Generally It takes 20 seconds to load page in edit mode.
Is that normal ?
