If in edit mode, if one area is directly beneath another (or touching it, so to say), it's difficult to get to click the above area name because it's name is in the space occupied by the below area. Hovering to get the top area name and click it (eg. to add a block) activates the bottom area and prevents users from doing so.

I suggest that the name is shown *within* the area boundaries (inside) or at least provide some delay in hiding the name label or similar.
