Why is there so much delay in redirects ?

I'm using internal redirects in concrete 5.7.4
http://codersvolt.com/team1 is redirecting to original pagehttp://codersvolt.com/team
But there is lots of delays in redirection.
Is it normal or is there any way to speed up ?
