A Smush It Addon in Filemanager

I thinka great core feature / addon would be to have the ability to smush and replace images in the file manager so when a client or anyone uploads an image you can click an icon and it will Smush (http://www.smushit.com/) or Kraken or similar the image and auto replace it in the file manager to allow you to rapidly optimise images with the website.

Would be a lovely feature and one I would buy!

I second that but maybe for the core of 5.7? along with an image checker to check the image res / size ahead of upload to stop clients crapping out the site with a print resolution upload.

A Smushit button would be ace - could you even integrate this into the core of C5 so you can turn on the option to Smush (or Kraken) all images on upload by default. That really would set it apart from others as it would guarantee quicker load speeds for clients.
