Ad server remove word advertisement

The ad server plugin calls all links "advertisement" and then throws in "ad" also in the url.
1) can this be changed by me somewhere in the code?
2) can these links look more friendly in general anyway (i.e. SEO style)
The big problem here is ad blockers block these out and the user ends up with a big white space where the ad was. So it's gotta be changed.
